I was born and raised in Conegliano (northern Italy), but my grandmother is from Nafpakto, her grandmother being a refugee from Asia Minor. I started learning Greek thanks to my mother, who transmitted to me her love for the language and the culture. My family history shaped my interests and my academic choices: I graduated in Language, Civilisation and the Science of Language from Ca' Foscari University of Venice (specializing in English and Modern Greek) and translated the graphic novel "Aivali" for my BA thesis. I did an Erasmus+ traineeship at the ETPbooks publishing house in Athens, where I lived for a year. My passion for music helped me in my journey, especially in Athens, where I joined the female choral ensemble CHÓRES, and back in Italy, where I still perform. My recent interests include translation and language teaching. During the last years, I've participated in the summer school "To Ddomadi Greko", promoting the linguistic and cultural inheritance of the Greko-speaking minority in Calabria (South Italy). I'm currently enrolled in Language Sciences at Ca' Foscari University.
