Münevver Özgür Özersay is a Nicosia-born architect, educator, and advocate for inclusive design. With academic roots in the Czech Republic and a PhD from EMU focusing on empowering communication in design studios, her work bridges architecture, education, and social engagement. She co-founded Miro Designroom to challenge conventional models in luxury bathroom design with a user-centered approach. As a member of the Imaginary Famagusta Group, she contributed to the Hands on Famagusta project, exhibited at the 2016 Venice Architecture Biennale. A longtime supporter of peacebuilding and cross-community efforts, she was also a volunteer architect for the Home for Cooperation. Her artistic practice has evolved through her participation in Nicholas Panayi Art Studio, culminating in her 2024 solo show "It Is What It Is." After completing DEI training in 2025, Münevver is focused on deepening her work through equity-driven, socially conscious design.
