John Kikidis is a senior professional and seasoned technology executive, entrepreneur, and co-founder with over thirty years of experience in the software, electronics, and semiconductor industries. Currently, he serves as Global Ecosystem Lead at Product Enablement & Ecosystem in the Embedded Processing Products Group at Renesas Electronics and represents Renesas on the Zephyr Project's Governing Board (a Linux Foundation initiative). In addition to his corporate responsibilities, John holds several board positions: Vice President at the Hellenic Emerging Technologies Industry Association (HETiA) board, Vice President of the Hellenic Chips Competence Centre (HCCC) executive board, and board member at Orange Grove. He joined Renesas when it acquired Dialog Semiconductor in 2021, where he was a Program Manager from 2015. Previously he was Product Development Director at the Citrix R&D Center for about 2 years and CEO at Analogies, a University of Patras spin-off for 7 years. Prior, he served for about 7 years at Intel Corporation in several engineering, marketing, and management roles, with last as Strategic Marketing Manager. Earlier, he was Business Development Manager in GiGA. He came in to GiGA when it acquired in 1999, his co-founded back in 1992 startup, Synergy Systems. He received his Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Integrated Master) in 1990, from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Patras, Greece.
