As Founder and Managing Director of ANICON., Annivas Vasilopoulos leads
the company’s internal and external operations, providing strategic
guidance and direction to his team to ensure ANICON. achieves its mission
and objectives.
Annivas brings extensive experience working with multi-disciplinary teams
in diverse environments and from multinational projects implemented in
Greece, Cyprus, London, Singapore, Bangkok and Hong Kong. Notable
involvements include the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, the
Formula One Grand Prix (Singapore), the tHotel G (Singapore), the New
Australian Embassy Complex (Thailand) as well as the Hari Hotel (Hong
Kong). Annivas’ input has been instrumental in the success of these projects.
Prior to founding ANICON., Annivas’s most recent assignment, as a Senior
Project Manager, was for the new high rise 34 storey hotel development –
The Hari Hotel- in the central area of Hong Kong, where Annivas led the
design, procurement, construction and closeout of the project, from
foundation to delivery. It was the success of this project that led Annivas to
establish ANICON., fueled by his passion for sustainability and construction.
Annivas is commended for his positive attitude and willingness to do
whatever it takes to exceed client expectations. His ability to read a room,
maneuver and adapt his approach to get the best out of both colleagues
and clients is what makes him stand out, particularly in such a people-
orientated industry.
A diligent academic, he holds a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Civil
Engineering from University College of London (UCL) in which he graduated
with Distinction. Annivas has also earned 2 academic awards, one from the
Institute of Structural Engineers (ISE) and one from TATA Steel, proving his
continuous desire to succeed and grow.
In 2019, Annivas was awarded the Atkins Presidential Award for his
outstanding contribution to the Project Management, Engineering and
Design business of Atkins. Atkins is one of the world’s most respected
consultancies.
Annivas is also a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors
(RICS) with a Project Management pathway.
