Lakuriqi has over two decades of experience as corporate leader in business & legal consulting, building stakeholder relationships and management for major businesses operating in Albania.
For the first half of her career, she has worked as in-house counsellor for top consulting firms in the legal & financial industry and has advised the Albanian Government on a number of major ground breaking projects.
In 2012 Jonida moved into the banking industry as a C-suit executive where she was to lead corporate governance transformation and oversee strategic projects.
Jonida joined Vodafone Albania in 2018. She handles a diversified portfolio comprising legal, new business development, corporate & external affairs, public relations, regulatory & compliance, corporate information security. She leads Vodafone’s strategy in Public Policy & Corporate & External affairs, with a particular focus in advancing the digitalization agenda across the country.
Jonida is the Chairwoman of Vodafone Albania Foundation Board. Outside her corporate role, Jonida serves as Board Deputy Chairperson at the British Chamber of Commerce to Albania; she sits also in the Advisory Board of the think tank international organization Women on Board Albania.
Driven by a belief in business as a catalyst for societal change, Jonida focuses on initiatives that bridge digital divides through comprehensive digital education, promote transitions to sustainable economies, and champion women empowerment in the corporate landscapes.
