Linda Rama holds a master’s degree in Economics (1993) and a PhD in Economic Sciences (1996). In 1998, after several years of contributing to government reforms and leading the National Agency for Privatization, Linda co-founded the Human Development Promotion Center (HDPC), a think tank that provides to the public and the policymakers, research & studies focusing on the country’s economic and social transformation throughout the transition, here including sectorial public policies, human capital, strategic policymaking and reforming, development agendas on integration and sustainability, private sector development, social responsibility, inequalities, education, gender, etc. Linda is author of over 50 publications in the related fields. As an active expert of the civil society, Linda has strongly promoted and debated cross-cutting issues of the country’s economic and social transformation. She has lectured International Finance in University of Tirana and Public Policies and Risk Management in European University of Tirana.
