Deputy Minister of Development since March 14, 2025, he was born in 1970. He is married to Garifallia Papadimitriou, a lawyer in Veria, and has two daughters. He is a graduate of the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) and the History of European Civilization Department of the Hellenic Open University (HOU). Furthermore, he holds a Master's Degree (MSc) in Administrative Law from the Law Department of Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH), specializing in Public Law and Political Science, and is currently a PhD candidate in Administrative Law at the same department. He possesses an excellent command of English and Italian. He has been a practicing lawyer before the Supreme Court (Arios Pagos) and a member of the Veria Bar Association from 1997 to the present. He has served as a Member of the Hellenic Parliament for Imathia across multiple terms: from 2007 to 2009, from 2012 to 2015, from 2019 to 2023, and from 2023 onwards. He also held the position of Deputy General Secretary of the New Democracy (ND) Parliamentary Group from 2012–2015 and from 2019 up to 2023. He has served as Chairman and member of several Committees of the Hellenic Parliament, most notably, during his parliamentary term from 2023 until March 14, 2025, he served as Chairman of the Standing Committee on Public Administration, Public Order and Justice. Additionally, he served as the General Rapporteur for the 2023 Budget, the Special Rapporteur for the 2022 Budget, and the Rapporteur for the majority on the Investigation Committees concerning the surveillance issue and the train accident in Tempi. Finally, he was a member of the Preliminary Investigation Committee regarding the issue of television licenses during the SYRIZA government and a member of the Investigation Committee regarding the issue of state funding to media during the pandemic.
