Dr. Aristofanis (Aris) Stefatos, CEO of the Hellenic Hydrocarbons and Energy Resources Management Company (HEREMA) S.A., holds a PhD in Geology and Geophysics, a Master’s degree in Environmental Oceanography, and a Bachelor’s in Geology. For the past 17 years he has held senior and top management positions in private E&P companies in Norway, and has been a founding partner of five Norwegian companies active in the broader E&P sector – including orgnizations involved in the development of innovative environmental and digitalization solutions. During his 26 years of professional experience, Mr. Stefatos has also worked in the technical maturation of exploration prospects and drilling in geological basins across Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, the Indian ocean, and the West Coast of Africa. He has a successful track record of five oil and gas discoveries in the Norwegian and Barents Sea, and in 2019 served as Greece’s honorary consul at Bergen.
