Mr. Pappas is Co-Founder of Vice Versa, a state-of-the-art consultancy specializing in high-quality insurance claims advisory services. With nearly four decades of international experience in the insurance sector, he brings deep expertise in non-life insurance, complex risk structuring, and claims management.
Prior to founding Vice Versa in 2024, he served for almost twenty years as Vice President & General Manager of Capuano Insurance Brokers in Greece, where he held full executive responsibility for strategy, operations, and business growth. He managed high-value corporate clients and oversaw the design and placement of complex non-life insurance programs, while supervising underwriting coordination and insurer relations.
Earlier in his career, he was appointed Director of Allianz’s first General Insurance branch in Greece, leading portfolio development and underwriting supervision across all non-life lines. He began his professional journey in Germany, serving as a Non-Life Underwriter with leading insurance companies (Nordstern, Colonia, and Coelnische Rück), specializing in Property, Liability, Marine & Transport, and Fine Art insurance.
His professional background combines strategic leadership with technical underwriting expertise, offering a comprehensive perspective on risk management and insurance markets.
