For the past decade, George Moraitis has been a key member of Interbeton, developing strong expertise in ready mix concrete production, concrete mix design optimization, and performance based material engineering. His work spans the full cycle of concrete solutions—from technical design to supply reliability—supporting major infrastructure and building projects with a focus on quality, efficiency, and sustainability. He has contributed to landmark developments such as the Thessaloniki & Kalamaria Metro , the “Macedonia” Airport terminal , HUB26 , Modiano Market etc., while more recently driving the strategic positioning of concrete in next generation urban projects. Prior to his joining Interbeton, he worked as a Technical Support & Sales Engineer at Metaxiotis S.A. , providing specialized guidance on building materials and supporting clients with expert engineering solutions. He began his career as a Site Engineer at DIMAND , contributing to major construction projects such as the ALDI Logistic Center in Sindos and the AEL FC Arena , where he oversaw site operations, contractor coordination, and compliance with project specifications. George is a Civil Engineer with a Master’s in Construction Project Management from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) , building a solid academic and technical foundation that supports his multidisciplinary work in construction and materials engineering.
