Errikos Moatsos started his professional career in 1988 ininsurance, with the legal representative of Royal Insurance in Greece. In 1999he joined CGU (now Aviva) in Greece as head of underwriting and then becameDeputy General Manager. In 2009 he joined AXA Insurance in Greece, as ChiefOperating Officer and member of the Executive Committee, before becoming Chief ExecutiveOfficer of the organization, from 2014 until 2021. In June 2024 he wasappointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Vice Chairman of the Board ofDirectors of ERGO Insurance.
Errikos Moatsos has served as a member of the Board and ofthe Executive Committee of the Hellenic Association of Insurance Companies andis currently heading its Property, Reinsurance, Cargo & Hull Committee. Hehas also served as President of the Board of the Association of Representatives& Executives of Insurance Companies, member of the Board of the MotorAuxiliary Fund and of the Hellenic Institute for Insurance Studies andnon-executive Vice Chairman of the Board of Europe Insurance Company. Also, he wasFrench Foreign Trade Advisor from 2016 to 2022. He holds a Master’s Degree (MAin Management) from the University of Fribourg in Switzerland and anInternational Executive Programme (IEP) from INSEAD in France. He is marriedand father of two children.
