Theodora Psaltopoulou is an Internist and Professor of Therapeutics, Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). She has postgraduate studies at the Harvard School of Public Health (US), as well as in the area of Health Care Organisation and Management. In addition, she actively participates in the Board of the NGO "ELPIDA", which supports children and adolescents with cancer.
Her research focuses on preventive medicine with over 200 publications and more than 14,000 citations.
She is a principal investigator or she has actively participated in numerous research projects (international and Greek), as well as scientific committees, related to the improvement of public health and medical prevention.
