Juan Schinas Alvargonzalez is a Parliamentary Assistant at the European Parliament. He works in the office of MEP Antonio Lopez-Istúriz, a Member of the European Parliament and previously Secretary General of the European People's Party.
He works on the Foreign Affairs Committee and the Security and Defence Subcommittee. He previously worked at the Atlantic Council in Washington D.C. His areas of interest are European foreign and defence policy, as well as the transatlantic relationship.
He is Spanish and Greek, and holds a BSc in Political Economy from King´s College London and an MA in Transatlantic Affairs from the College of Europe and The Fletcher School at Tufts University.
