George is the Managing Partner of EY in Greece, since January 2023. He started his professional career in 2000 and joined EY Greece in 2002. He became Partner in 2007 and was Head of Consulting Services in Greece from 2008 to late 2014. From January 2021 to July 2025, he served as EY's Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe & Central Asia (CESA) Markets and Accounts Leader. Effective July 2025 he is EY's Europe Central (EC) Financial Services Leader and Clients and Industries Leader for the Europe Central region. He often participates as speaker in events and is a frequent trainer at EY’s specialized trainings. He is a graduate of Athens University of Economics and Business and London School of Economics, while he holds a number of professional certifications in the area of Risk and Finance such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Professional Risk Manager (PRM), a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM), and a Certified Financial Services Auditor (CFSA).
