Katerina Patsogianni was born in Volos and holds degrees in Accounting from Piraeus Technological Educational Institute and in Communication, Media and Culture from Panteion University. She is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Applied Economics for Public Organizations at the University of Thessaly. She has extensive experience in Greek public administration, serving in key positions within the Ministry of Interior, including the Secretariat General for Citizenship, the Directorate of Financial Services, and the Directorate General for Migration Policy, where she managed EU integration programs. She coordinated communication for the Governmental Committee of State Aid and worked as an advisor to Migration Policy Secretary General. She represented Greece in European Union working groups on migration and youth policy. In 2019, she was a parliamentary candidate in Magnesia with New Democracy and previously ran in regional elections in 2006.
