Dr. Yiannis Pavlosoglou is Vice Governor of the National Cybersecurity Authority of Greece, where he contributes to the country’s efforts for cyber resilience and digital security governance. With more than 20 years of experience in information security, he has held senior cybersecurity leadership roles across both the private and public sectors, including serving as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at UBS in the United Kingdom and leading security initiatives within European public sector institutions. Dr. Pavlosoglou has also founded several cybersecurity companies in the UK and Greece and has served on multiple boards as a Non-Executive Director. His work focuses on strengthening operational resilience through practical security frameworks and risk engineering. Holding a PhD in secure routing protocols, he began his career as a penetration tester and contributes to industry frameworks, most recently the AI Resilience Maturity Model (AI-RMM).
