He is also Chairman of the Board and Administrator of WikiEllinisti, a new initiative created through the collaboration between the Wikimedia Community of Greece, the only organization in Greece officially recognized by the Wikimedia Foundation, and PostScriptum. WikiEllinisti is a non-profit organization dedicated to developing the infrastructure that enables individuals, communities, and institutions to record, document, and publish reliable knowledge about Greece and the Greek language within international open knowledge ecosystems, including Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons, and Wikidata. Its mission is to mobilize and support these actors in contributing trustworthy, well-documented content while building a sustainable and open digital knowledge infrastructure. Through this work, WikiEllinisti seeks to strengthen the presence of Greek knowledge and culture on the internet, advance the creation of reliable open data resources, foster digital skills and active citizenship, and help reduce knowledge gaps and underrepresentation within the global digital knowledge ecosystem.
