Stavriana Asprogiannidou, Managing Director, Marine Stavriana is the Managing Director of Howden Marine and delivers bespoke solutions to navigate the complexities of marine risks tailored to the unique needs of a diverse range of shipping groups, from family-run businesses to large and complex global trading fleets. She brings 14 years of shipping experience, having been trained at the oldest Marine insurance broker in London where she successfully led the Mediterranean shipping portfolio. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), an MSc in Insurance and Risk Management from Bayes Business School (formerly Cass), an LLM in Maritime Law from City, University of London and an Executive MBA from Cranfield University. Additionally, she has completed the prestigious Entrepreneurship programme at Harvard Business School. Stavriana is recognized as a Chartered Broker by the ACII and a Chartered Manager Fellow by the CMI.
