Born in Thessaloniki, Vasiliki Adamidou holds a degree in English Language and Literature from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, followed by postgraduate studies in International Marketing Management at Queen Mary University of London. She is an internationally certified Sustainability (CSR) Practitioner by the Centre for Sustainability and Excellence (CSE) and the Chartered Management Institute. Notably, she has represented Greece at the United Nations on issues regarding Human and Business Rights, as well as Women's Empowerment. Sixteen years ago, she joined Lidl—a milestone that defined both her professional and personal trajectory. Today, she leads the Corporate Affairs and Sustainability Department for Greece and Cyprus, working alongside an exceptional team. Lidl is distinguished by its steadfast commitment to social and environmental responsibility and its innovative approach to sustainable development—core values that continue to inspire and guide her work.
