Rania Ekaterinari is President of SEV Executive Committee & Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors since June 2024. She is also independent director on the boards of ElvalHalcor, Motor Oil και HEDNO and member of various board committees (Audit, Nomination, Remuneration and Sustainability Committees). In the board of HEDNO, Rania was nominated by Macquarie Asset Management. She has over 27 years of professional experience across different sectors. She began her career in oil & gas for Chevron. She then worked for more than 10 years in Corporate and Investment Banking in London and in Athens for Deutsche Bank, BNP Paribas and Eurobank. Later in her career she assumed C-suite positions, including - CEO of GrowthFund (the National Investment Fund of Greece), Partner at EY in Transaction Advisory Services & EY Energy Sector Leader for SE Europe, and Deputy CEO and executive member of the Board of Public Power Corporation (PPC). After GrowthFund, Rania worked as senior advisor to large corporates on investment strategy and M&A transactions in the energy and renewables sector. Today she is also Vice-President of the Board of Alba Association, member of the Advisory Board of Dianeosis (the leading Greek think-tank on social and economic policy matters), co-chair of the Greek Chapter of WomenCorporateDirectors - WCD (the largest global network of women board directors) and member of the European Network for Women in Leadership. She holds a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Aristotle University and an MBA from Bayes Business School.
