Dimitrios Mantzos is a Member of the Hellenic Parliament, Parliamentary Representative and Foreign Affairs Spokesperson of the Main Opposition Party, PASOK - Kinima Allagis. He participates in the Standing Parliamentary Committee on National Defense and Foreign Affairs and the Special Standing Committees on European Affairs and Armament Programs & Contracts. He is a full member of the National Council for Foreign Affairs. Since 2023, he is a member of the Greek Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, where he serves as Chairperson of the Sub-Committee on Migrant Smuggling and Trafficking in Human Beings and as a member of the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights and the Committee on Migration, Refugees and Displaced Persons. He previously served as PASOK Party Spokesperson (2022–2023) and Director of its Parliamentary Group (2019–2022). Earlier, he worked as an adviser to the Hellenic Parliament on constitutional issues (2015–2019) and to the Ministry of Justice on the reform of civil and criminal procedural rules, international judicial cooperation and alternative dispute resolution (2011–2015). D. Mantzos is a lawyer at the Supreme Court, member of the Athens Bar Association and accredited mediator. He is a PhD candidate at the University of Athens. He holds a Law Degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a Master on Commercial Law from the University of Athens.
