Ioannis Bratakos has served as President of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) since December 2024. He was first elected to its Board of Directors in 2006 and later held the position of Vice President from December 2017, with responsibility for innovation, new technologies, start-ups, investments, and the development of the Greek start-up ecosystem. He studied Production and Management and holds a postgraduate degree in Political Economy from the London School of Economics. Since 1995, he has been active in the field of Information Technology, and in 1999 he co-founded the company DD Synergy. He has served as a member and chairman on the boards of various companies and institutions, contributing actively to the growth of the Greek start-up ecosystem. From August 2022 to March 2024, he served as Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister.
