Simon Nixon is an independent journalist, a columnist for Kathimerini and Euractiv, and the publisher of the Wealth of Nations newsletter on Substack. He is also a regular contributor to the Financial Times, Bloomberg, Washington Post, and The Guardian. He was previously chief leader writer and columnist at The Times (of London), chief Europe commentator at the Wall Street Journal, and executive editor or Breakingviews. He studied history at Trinity College, Cambridge. He lives in London.
