Dimitrios Kottas is founder and CEO of Delian Alliance Industries, a defence-tech company based in Athens and London that builds autonomous maritime surveillance and counter-drone solutions. After research on GPS-denied navigation (1,600+ citations) and work in Apple’s Special Projects Group on sensor fusion for mobile robots, Dimitrios returned to Europe in 2021 to launch Delian. The company has raised $22M and deploys autonomous surveillance towers with the Hellenic Armed Forces for EU border protection and maritime surveillance, and with Civil Protection for early fire detection, expanding sovereign area-denial capabilities internationally.
