Sarita Varouch is the General Manager of Uber Greece, overseeing one of the fastest-growing markets in Uber’s EMEA portfolio. With a background in economics and business strategy, she works at the intersection of technology, market development, and public policy — bringing both a private sector perspective and an understanding of the structural forces shaping Greece’s digital economy. At Uber, she leads the company’s commercial, regulatory, and stakeholder agenda in Greece. She believes that how people and cities move is one of the defining infrastructure questions of the next decade — and that technology platforms, when thoughtfully integrated, have a meaningful role to play in modernizing urban mobility to be more accessible, efficient, and sustainable. Prior to Uber, she held senior roles in the technology sector, building brands, and has a background in communications. She holds a degree in Economics from the University of Athens and an MBA from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University.
