Ioannis Armakolas, PhD (Cantab), is Associate Professor at the University of
Macedonia and Senior Research Fellow and Head of the South-East Europe
Programme at the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP). He also serves as Director of the initiative “think nea – New Narratives of EU Integration”.
Dr. Armakolas is the Research Coordinator of the EU Knowledge Hub on the
Prevention of Radicalisation (Brussels) and a Visiting Fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre of the European University Institute (Florence). He is a member of the Europe’s Futures network of the Erste Foundation (Vienna) and serves on the Independent Tripartite High-Level Group on EU Neighbourhood Interdependencies (Brussels).
