• Mr. Mazarakis is currently the Managing Partner at Golden Age Capital, a leading Private Equity firm targeting SMEs in Greece with 200+M AUM.
• Before Golden Age Capital , Pericles was the Managing Partner at Trispan, a lower middle market Private Equity firm in the US/Europe with $1.2+B AUM and offices in New York and London.
• Prior to that, he held other senior Private Equity roles including Senior Operating Partner/Head of Portfolio Support at CDPQ’s Private Equity division with $40+B under management, Managing Director for THL Partners focusing on the Consumer, Retail, Healthcare and Business Services Industries and senior Operating Partner at Cerberus Capital where he led the Firm’s Top-Line Growth initiatives for the 30+ portfolio companies.
• Prior to Private Equity, Mr. Mazarakis spent 13 years in C-level positions with Fortune 50 companies. He was the COO for YUM Brands (KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell) in Latin America and the Caribbean overseeing 1,500 stores and then the CMO for Pizza Hut International (4,500+ stores). Before YUM Brands, he was the CMO for the Worldwide Consumer Business at Bristol Myers Squibb.
• Mr Mazarakis started his career with McKinsey & Company where he spent 7 years with Retail and Consumer clients in the US, Europe and Latin America.
• Mr Mazarakis has a BSE from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania (1985) and an MBA from Stanford University (1989).
