Evi Lazou-Laskaridis is Chair of the Athanasios C. Laskaridis Charitable Foundation, which she co-founded in 2016 as a catalyst for initiatives advancing Greece and Hellenism, with a strong focus on environmental protection. Under her leadership, the Foundation has become a leading force in marine conservation in Greece and the Mediterranean, implementing flagship programs such as the Typhoon Project, the Cyclone Project, and Fishing for Litter.

Its work combines large-scale field operations with scientific research and close collaboration with international organizations, government ministries, and academic institutions, contributing to evidence-based policy and environmental protection. Continuing to build on its established work, the Foundation deepens its commitment to sustainable development, highlighting the central role of the sea as a multiplier of sustainable prosperity across the broader socio-economic ecosystem.

Beyond her environmental work, Evi is a founding partner and Chair of The People’s Trust, a non-profit organization that supports entrepreneurship in Greece through microgrants and business support services. Since 2016, it has supported more than 750 small businesses and contributed to the creation of nearly 1,900 jobs.

She previously served as Executive Vice President of Marketing at Hyatt Regency Hotels & Tourism Hellas S.A.. She holds a BA, magna cum laude with honors, from Brown University and studied interior design at Parsons School of Design.
