Professor Karolina Wigura is an academic and writer. She is an award-winning author of books on political philosophy and the role of emotions in public life. Wigura is an Associate of Russian and East European Studies (REES) at the Oxford University School for Global and Area Studies, University of Oxford, and regular contributor to leading global outlets, including The New York Times, The Guardian, The Financial Times, Die Zeit, and Le Monde. She is also a Senior Fellow at the Zentrum Liberale Moderne in Berlin and co-founder of the Warsaw-based Kultura Liberalna Foundation, one of Eastern Europe’s leading think tanks.
