Tryfon Zachariadis was born in Athens in 1953. He initially studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna before pursuing studies in Public Law and Political Science at the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA).
Since the late 1970s, he has dedicated himself to psychoanalytic theory through systematic study, personal analysis, and rigorous professional training. Over the decades, psychotherapy has become the primary focus of his professional practice.
As an educator and clinical instructor, he has collaborated with several academic institutions, including the University Psychiatric Clinic at Eginition Hospital (2007-2009), the Department of Philosophy, Pedagogy, and Psychology at NKUA (2011), and the postgraduate program in Systematic Theology at NKUA (2011-2013).

In 2018, he co-founded the Hellenic Educational Institute of Analytical Psychotherapy for Groups and Families (ELEKIN), where he served as Founding President for its first four years.

Mr. Zachariadis is a full member of the Hellenic Association for Psychotherapy and a holder of the European Certificate of Psychotherapy (ECP). He is also affiliated with international organizations, including the International Association for Group Psychotherapy and Group Processes (IAGP) and the International Family Therapy Association (IFTA). Parallel to his clinical career, he is a published author who debuted in 1970. His literary work encompasses a wide range of essays, poetry, and fiction.
