He was born and lives in Patras;he is married and has two sons. He is a dentist and holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from the National School of Public Health. He has served as director of the National Health System (ESY) since 2015. He has held various positions of responsibility (PPNP, IKA, EOPPY), performing administrative or supervisory duties. He has been active in trade unionism at both the local and national levels and has engaged in significant social activism. In 2019, he was elected regional councilor for the Region of Western Greece as part of Nektarios Farmakis’s ticket, was appointed Deputy Regional Governor of Achaea, and was re-elected in 2023, when he was appointed Deputy Regional Governor.
