Panteleimon Tsakalis is a Machine Learning Engineer and PhD Candidate at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). He works at the intersection of machine learning research and real-world AI systems, with experience building ranking, fraud detection, and generative AI solutions in production environments. His doctoral research focuses on applying machine learning and computer vision to embryo growth analysis in IVF, with the goal of deriving clinically useful insights from time-lapse imaging data. He has co-authored publications in applied machine learning and embryo analysis.
