Professor Dr. Marios Panagiotis Efthymiopoulos is an international security and strategy expert, academic, and geopolitical analyst with extensive experience across the Gulf region, the United States, and Europe. He serves as Director and CEO of Strategy International (SI), a Cyprus-based think tank and strategic advisory organization focusing on international security, geopolitics, defense, energy, cyber strategy, and global affairs, while also holding the position of Associate Professor of International Security and Strategy at Vytautas Magnus University in Lithuania. Throughout his career, he has held senior academic and administrative positions in universities and institutions across Cyprus, Greece, the United Arab Emirates, Lithuania, Italy, and the United States, including roles in academic leadership, international program development, accreditation and quality assurance, strategic planning, and higher education governance.
