Akis is a Partner at Lakestar in London. Lakestar is a $3bn multi stage Venture Capital firm in Europe with early investments in technology and defense such as Revolut, Spotify, Blockchain.com, Helsing, Cambridge Aerospace and GetYourGuide among others. While at Lakestar, Akis has been part of the investment team in companies such as Neko Health, Fuse Energy, Nelly and Validio. Akis joined Lakestar from Goldman Sachs in 2019, where he advised companies including T-Mobile, Liberty Global, Deliveroo, Naspers and Just Eat on mergers and acquisitions. Prior to that, Akis was on the Investment Banking team at Credit Suisse and advised on transactions for NBG, Piraeus Bank, OTE as well as Vodafone.
