Daniel Paksy is the Managing Director of Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine for Greece, Cyprus, Malta and Romania, bringing more than 25 years of international experience across commercial strategy, market access, healthcare policy and organizational leadership within the pharmaceutical industry. Throughout his career at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, he has held senior leadership roles across Europe, the USA and Asia-Pacific, gaining extensive experience in both mature and highly constrained healthcare systems. Prior to his current role, he served as Senior Director of Global Commercial Strategy for Rheumatology in the United States, partnering closely with R&D and global teams on the development of innovative therapies and long-term value strategies. Previously, as Managing Director of Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Hungary, he led the company through a period of strong growth, successful launches and organizational transformation, while actively contributing to policy dialogue on patient access, sustainability and healthcare system resilience as the member of the BoD of the Pharma Trade Association (AIPM). Daniel is particularly passionate about advancing pharmaceutical innovation in a way that combines scientific progress with timely and sustainable patient access. His perspective is shaped by a strong belief that healthcare systems must evolve through collaboration, evidence-based policymaking and responsible harnessing of innovation and health data. In Greece and Romania, he actively supports initiatives related to healthcare modernization, clinical research enhancement, sustainable access to innovation and constructive institutional dialogue, with the goal of contributing to more resilient and future-ready healthcare systems. He holds a BA in Business Studies from the International Business School in Budapest, affiliated with Oxford Brookes University, and a BA in International Advertising accredited by the International Advertising Association (IAA), New York.
