Hemin Hawrami is currently member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party’s politburo. He served as the deputy speaker of parliament in the Kurdistan Region from 2019 to 2023. He was head of political relations and senior advisor at the office of President Massoud Barzani from 2017 to 2019. He served as the Head of Foreign relations of the Kurdistan Democratic Party from 2011 to 2017. He holds Ph.D in International relations. He was born in Halabja in 1976.
