Christos Daramilas is a biologist specializing in diabetes, pharmacology, and toxicology. He holds two master’s degrees, in Diabetes Education and Industrial Pharmacology and Toxicology, and is currently working on his doctoral dissertation in the field of Pharmacology and Toxicology. He has many years of experience in patient support, health promotion, and participation in research and scientific activities related to chronic diseases, particularly diabetes. At the same time, he is actively involved in union and social advocacy work in the field of disability and chronic illness. He is President of the Panhellenic Federation of Associations and Societies of People with Diabetes (P.O.S.S.A.S.DIA.), Second Vice President of the National Confederation of People with Disabilities (E.S.A.meA.), and President of the Thessaloniki Diabetes Association. Through the positions of responsibility he holds, he actively contributes to advocating for rights, improving the quality of life for people with disabilities and chronic conditions, and shaping health and social protection policies.
