Anastasia Andritsou is the Director of the British Council in Greece and Cyprus, leading strategic direction, operational excellence, and institutional partnerships across both countries. With more than 25 years of leadership experience spanning education reform, technical assistance programme management, stakeholder engagement, and business transformation, she has built a distinguished track record of delivering high-impact, sustainable change across the public, private, and non-profit sectors. Throughout her career, Anastasia has played a pivotal role in shaping education and cultural policy across Europe, strengthening strategic collaboration between the UK, Greece, and Cyprus through innovative initiatives in arts, education, and English language development. She has championed forward-looking skills agendas for young people and underserved communities, while spearheading large-scale science and education programmes that have generated nationwide impact. Her leadership has been instrumental in driving strategic initiatives that expand institutional partnerships in higher education and advance the UK’s transnational education footprint in Europe. She is a recognised contributor to high-level policy dialogues, ministerial forums, and international conferences, engaging with senior stakeholders across government and the corporate sector. Anastasia has consistently led organisational transformation and change management programmes focused on enhancing operational effectiveness, growth, and long-term impact. She holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, a Master’s degree from the Polytechnic School of Toulouse, France, and an Executive MBA from the Athens University of Economics and Business.
