Chrysi Laspidou is the Vice Rector of Innovation, Internationalization, Collaborations and Digital Governance and the Head of the Innovation, Technology Transfer Unit and Entrepreneurship Center "One Planet Thessaly" at the University of Thessaly. She is Professor of "Environmental Engineering of Water Systems" at the Civil Engineering Department and served as the Vice-President of Collaboration at Water Europe, a Brussels-based organization, for four years. With a BSc and MSc degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a PhD from Northwestern University in Engineering, she coordinates a number of large EU projects, focusing on One Health, Resource Nexus, Climate Change, Resilience, and Transformative Change.
