Spyros Arsenis is Head of the Business Innovation Development Unit at the National Bank of Greece, Director of the NBG Business Seeds program, and the initial coordinator of the act4Greece crowdfunding platform. In recognition of his exceptional leadership and contributions to business innovation, he was honored with the Manager of the Year award in 2025.
He serves on the advisory boards of Synergia, Uni.fund, Metavallon, Big Pi, OK!Thess, the Archimedes Center of the University of Athens, and the Department of Applied Informatics at the University of Macedonia. He is also the General Secretary of the Hellenic Society for the Environment and Cultural Heritage, and a member of the Innovation Committee of SEV (Hellenic Federation of Enterprises), the Education, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Committee of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, and the Startups Committee of the German-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce.
An Electrical Engineer with 25 years of multi-sector, multi-discipline professional experience in Greece and abroad, Spyros Arsenis has worked in international telecom projects, business banking, and innovation. He is the author of seven books on information technology and the Internet, and teaches Entrepreneurship and Innovation for the University of Athens’ MBA program.
