Dimitri A. Sotiropoulos is professor of political science at the Department of Political Science and Public Administration of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, and a research associate of LSE’s Hellenic Observatory in London. He currently serves as President of the Greek Political Science Association (HPSA). He does research on democracy, civil society, public administration, education, and the welfare state in Greece, Southern Europe, and the Balkans in comparative perspective.
