Aristides N. Hatzis is a professor of legal theory at the University of Athens. He earned his doctorate in law and economics from the University of Chicago. He is also the director of the Laboratory for Political and Institutional Theory and the History of Ideas at the University of Athens. His op-eds have appeared in major international and Greek media outlets, including the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Financial Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Atlantic and CNBC.
