Ms Sophia Athanasopoulou is Investment and Portfolio Director at Orilina REIC, where she leads investment strategy, capital allocation, and portfolio value creation across a diversified real estate platform. She is responsible for originating and evaluating investment opportunities, executing acquisitions and disposals, and driving asset-level strategies including repositioning, development, leasing, and active portfolio management. She brings more than 25 years of experience across real estate investment, acquisitions, asset management, corporate finance, and complex transactions, with a strong track record in identifying value-creation opportunities and executing transactions in challenging and complex situations. Prior to joining Orilina REIC, Ms Athanasopoulou held senior positions including Real Estate Director at PQH Single Special Liquidator, Senior Project Manager at the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF), and Real Estate Advisory Director at PwC Business Solutions. Ms Athanasopoulou holds a PhD in Economics (Distinction) from the University of Athens, an MSc in Finance from City University, and a BA in Business Administration, complemented by MIT training in Commercial Real Estate Analysis and Investment.
