Dr. Spyros Vlachopoulos was born in 1968. He is a Doctor of Law at the University of Munich (1995) and Professor at the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University (Athens), specializing in Public Law. In addition, he has taught at the Hellenic National School of Judges. He is an author of a large number of books and articles on various legal issues in the field of public law, such as the constitutional history, the interpretation of the Constitution and the fundamental rights, the transparency and protection of personal data. He represents cases of public law before the Council of State and Administrative Courts. He is the President of the Committee for the Evaluation of the Law-Making Process, member of the Personal Data Protection Authority and elected member of the University Senate.
