David is BAE Systems Regional Managing Director for Europe, appointed in 2024. Prior to this he was responsible for BAE Systems office in Brussels, managing interactions with EU and NATO institutions. David advises the group on European political and industrial affairs, and works with governments, customers, and partners across Europe to help meet their defence and security requirements. David has worked for BAE Systems since 2008 in a series of business development and project management roles. Mostly in the maritime sector, this included assignments to Ottawa and to Canberra, with a key role in winning the contract for the Hunter Class Frigate Programme which is BAE Systems biggest ever win in competition. For this achievement, he was awarded the Defence Industry Service Commendation by the Australian Department of Defence. David also serves as the Deputy Head of the UK Delegation to the NATO Industry Advisory Group, and is a member of the Defence Business Unit at ASD, the European trade association for the defence and aerospace industries.
