Ahmed BinMubarak is a Yemeni political leader, diplomat, and academic who served as Prime Minister of Yemen from 2024 to 2025 and as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2020 to 2024. Earlier, he served as Yemen’s Ambassador to the United States and Permanent Representative to the United Nations. During Yemen’s political transition, he was Secretary-General of the National Dialogue Conference and later Director of the Office of the President of the Republic. Before entering public service, Dr. Binmubarak pursued an academic career in business administration, teaching at several Yemeni universities and heading the Business Administration Centre for Graduate Studies at Sana’a University. He holds a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Baghdad. His areas of expertise include diplomacy, governance, conflict resolution, state-building, Yemen’s political transition, Red Sea security, regional geopolitics, and peacebuilding.
