Andrei Geica is the Co-Founder and Partner responsible for Impact and EU Public Policy in Sporos
Platform, the first Impact Investment Fund focused on Circular Economy in South-East Europe. With
direct experience from the European Parliament and as a policy monitoring consultant in the private
sector in one of the largest Parliamentary legislative monitoring consultancies in Brussels, he decided to
apply this knowledge in the underserved South-East European region by providing tailored policy
monitoring in Greece. He is also the founder of BusinessAcumen, an online policy monitoring platform
for professionals and organisations active in the field of public affairs and beyond. These key insights
into the policy process and global trends and his policy expertise in circular economy and the green
transition led to the establishment of Sporos Platform, as well as Sporos Circular Solutions, an
innovative consultancy firm dedicated to assist the Circular Transition across key industry verticals and
business models, and Symbiosis, an NGO dedicated to awareness-raising on the need and benefits for a
Circular Economy, both among key decision-makers and the general public. Andrei holds a BSc in
Political Science and International Relations (Cum Laude) at the University of Parma, Italy and an MSc in
Politics and Government in the European Union (Distinction) at the London School of Economics and
Political Science.
