Achilleas leads sustainability transformation for the PPC Group since January 2020. He is responsible for embedding sustainability and circular economy principles in the Group’s strategy and operations, helping PPC create shared economic, environmental, and social added value for all stakeholders as it pertains to decarbonization, and the energy and digital transformation. He and his team are also responsible for the improvement of the ESG reporting for PPC Group, and to bridge the needs and interests of the external stakeholders with the outcomes and deliverables of the Group. He has served as political and corporate communications consultant in both the private and the public sectors for fifteen years. Prior to joining PPC, Achilleas served as an advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, influencing Greece’s global image through media, addressing cyber attacks and “fake news,” and collaborating with NGOs. Having worked as head of communications and marketing for a leading tourism agency, Achilleas launched a luxury property short rental platform agency for properties in Greece, based on the circular economy model and sustainable tourism, which today holds a prominent position in the market. Achilleas holds a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Piraeus, an MSc in Marketing from the Stirling University, and an MSc in Politics & Communication from the London School of Economics. He has successfully completed the Circular Economy and Sustainability Strategies Executive Program of the Cambridge Judge Business School.
