Dr Jasmina Knežević, founder of Bel Medic, started her professional carrier as pediatrician in a public hospital.

Over the years, Bel Medic became the leading private health system in Serbia with a general hospital and out-patient clinics, on 5 locations, with 500 full-time employees, more than 400 leading consultant physicians and over 500.000 patients.

Dr. Jasmina Knežević is permanently devoted and active in the creation of a better business environment. As the leader in the private healthcare sector, a member of the Healthcare Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Managing Board of the Serbian Association of Managers, a member of Serbian business club “Privrednik”, as well as a founder and member of Executive board of Association of Serbian Private Healthcare Providers, she has a great impact on the changes taking place in the private sector, mostly in the medical field, which has resulted in numerous awards.  During the pandemic, Dr Jasmina Knežević won the traditional prize “The Manager of the Year” for 2020. She was willing to take the risk and make everyone around her safe during the pandemic simultaneously demonstrating courage, positivism, determination, constructiveness and quick adaptation to new circumstances, while successfully managing Bel Medic healthcare system, its staff, doctors and patients.In 2019, she won the Award “Paragon of Virtue“ by Mokra Gora School of Management. Also, it is important to mentioned that Dr. Jasmina Knežević won the award “Woman Leader in Change” given by the American Chamber of Commerce in Serbia in 2014, as well as many other awards. Today, Dr. Jasmina Knežević is a member of the Advisory Board of Acibadem Bel Medic. Through strategic integration with the world-renowned healthcare provider Acibadem, dr. Knežević recognized the need for bringing the highest quality of healthcare services to Serbia and thus, making her contribution to the Serbian economy.
