Antigoni Vafeidou is Director of Operation and Legal for Europe for Advent Technologies INC. (ADN: NASDAQ) and as a Supreme Court Lawyer she runs also her own law firm.

In parallel with her law profession career, she has served at the Bank of Greece as Insurance Supervisor of the Governors Mr. G. Provopoulos and Mr. I. Stournaras, managing the supervision of insurance companies under liquidation regarding: the inventory and liquidation of their ex-assets, findings of the financial audits, the investigation of the actions of the former administrations.

In Brussels, she has worked in European lobbying as a Policy Advisor in Single Market and Social Affairs, on consumer protection issues in the lobbying-field of investment product trading.

When she came back to Athens, Antigoni was invited by the Hellenic Bank Association to teach seminars on Banking and Competition Law as well as to teach seminars on the management of bad loans of all kinds (consumer, business, etc.).

She has also been appointed Special Advisor to the Minister of Environment and Energy from February 2021 with main tasks the Parliamentary control by preparing detailed reports for the Minister and the Government (preparation of public answers-speeches to questions on behalf of the opposition parties in the Parliament), law-text drafting, pre-contractual legality check of Government contracts before signature.

Now she is a PhD candidate in the field of International Commercial Arbitration.

In London, she took her 2nd postgraduate degree in Competition Law at University College London (U.C.L-LL.M), while her 1st postgraduate degree was in International and European Economic Studies in Athens University of Economics and business. During her bachelor studies, she attended Human Resource Management -summer course at the London School of Economics and Political Science (L.S.E.).

Among her interest, she frequently writes articles on international and domestic political issues.
